PRO WELCOMES NEW VOLUNTEER STAFF
DAVID HUGH PEET
David H. Peet recently joined Parkinson’s Resource Organization (PRO) as its Wellness Village Development Director. In this position David is charged with developing PRO’s Wellness Village (www.ParkinsonsResource.org/wellness-village/) online professional directory into the premier national directory for medical and professional support services for the Parkinson’s community.
David has an extensive background with non-profit organizations. His most recent of which was as the Director of Development at KVCR, an NPR and PBS affiliate serving the greater Los Angeles, Inland Empire and Southern California desert regions. David’s experience prior to KVCR was as President of Total Marketing Partners, a professional consulting company focusing on fund development; event development, planning, and execution; strategic planning; and board development for the non-profit industry.
David, who speaks fluent Japanese and Chinese, is a graduate of the California State University International Program Republic of China (Taiwan) and the California State University Fresno, where he received his B.S. in Business Administration – Marketing.
Any spare time David has is spent enjoying his 6 year-old daughter, Kathryn, and 3 year-old twin sons, Nate and Leo.
JOHN CONWAY FOTHERINGHAM
John Conway Fotheringham graduated from University of California, Merced with a B.A. in Psychology. John grew up and went to school in the Coachella Valley and volunteered at the PRO office last summer. Currently, he is an apprentice at the Parkinson’s Resource Organization. John will go on to an MBA graduate school next year to continue his education in Non-Profit Management. According to John, “helping others is what life’s all about.”
