December Message From PRO Founder Jo Rosen

One precious month to go before we close another year and all of us at Parkinson’s Resource Organization send best wishes for a wonderful, safe and fulfilling Holiday season.

The outpouring of love and messages after my back surgery in October was incredible and received with my deep gratitude. Thank you. I missed and will miss seeing all of our support group members through the rest of the year.

It is so exciting to report this month’s update on the “ROAD TO CURE PARKINSON’S”. Additionally this month we are delighted to present an articles about THE FELDENKRAIS METHOD® by Pat Barragan, CLINICAL TRIALS, THE PROBLEM WITH REVOCABLE LIVING TRUSTS (in California) by Zoran K. Basich, Elder-Care, EASE THE ANXIETY OF THE HOLIDAYS by Kari Wells, LVN Senior Team Leader – Cambrian Homecare, and WHAT IS TMJ OR TMD AND WHAT ARE ITS SYMPTOMS? by: Stephen David Smith, D.M.D. (PA)

Again this Holiday Season we have an extra special way to Support PRO and be recognized by the world for your generosity. We are decorating our Virtual Christmas Tree and we want you to be among the FIRST to hang your ornament!

We have THREE special gifting opportunities, each clearly acknowledging your commitment and generosity: Bright, $25.00–$99.00, Brighter, $100.00–$249.00 and Simply Radiant, $250.00 and up. Your position on the PRO Holiday tree will be determined by first come, first placed. The size of your STAR is determined by your gift level.

So be FIRST and shine brightly at the top. Share your commitment to PRO and honor your special loved one early this season!

Naming the Tree Topper (the brightest Star option of all is still available.) Please contact us directly to discuss. Your gift will be visible for more than 6 weeks. It will Sparkle and Shine until January 7. Parkinsonsresource.org/holiday-cheer-gratitude-tree/. Visit our Tree and place your STAR… We welcome the opportunity to recognize your loved ones and to SHINE ON in their honor.

On behalf of everyone benefiting from our efforts, we thank ALL OF YOU who made donations or are making donations, keeping our work flourishing. We urge you to continue. You may donate online through our secure website at ParkinsonsResource.org/contribute.

I am looking forward to again hosting up to nine Marines and Sailors at my home on Christmas Day and I send special wishes to all of you for a blessed Holiday.

Until next month REMEMBER to continue Hanukkah celebrations through the 5th, Human Rights Day is the 10th, Winter Solstice is on the 21st, Christmas Day is the 25th and Boxing Day and the beginning of Kwanzaa on the 26th. Celebrate all of them, CELEBRATE YOU and PRAY FOR OUR TROOPS!
