MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT FEBRUARY 2014

2014 is well underway- with resolutions  and good intentions still fresh in our mind. As we watch the news and see the trauma “Mother Nature” is bestowing on so many regions of our country, I encourage us all to give thanks for what we have, our wonderful communities, the people we hold near and dear and then find it in our hearts to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Though we may not immediately realize the good we are doing: a personal note, a simple prayer, an invitation to lunch or dinner and of course a donation of TIME, TALENT or MONEY will impact your world beyond measure.

The abundance of information in this month’s NEWSWORTHY NOTES is spectacular. I would be remiss if I didn’t publicly appreciate our contributing professionals, who month in and month out give us vital information and sage advise. Their contributions enrich our organization and help our members and visitors every single day.
