Meet the PRO Team: Art Gregoire, RN
Category: Newsworthy NotesIt’s the people behind the scenes at PRO that makes us the special resource organization that we are. This month, meet Art Gregoire, RN.
1. Describe your role with PRO.
My role with PRO includes being a support group facilitator and serving as a resource to others based on my years of experience as a Registered Nurse. I have worked as an RN since 1972, serving in many clinical positions. I keep my license active, as I believe strongly in patient advocacy, especially when it comes to issues involving the denial of services.
2. What inspired you to come work with PRO?
I’ve been involved with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research for the last two years as a study participant, and I was diagnosed with Prodromal Parkinson’s disease in 2025. I was appointed to their Community Advisory Board for PPMI, where I continue to serve and enjoy sharing my input while learning more about treatment options under investigation and upcoming medication trials.
I wanted to become more involved locally, and finding PRO seemed like exactly what I was looking for. I believe I can be a bridge between both organizations. I especially enjoy participating in the support groups and have recently become a fan of Ping Pong Therapy for Parkinson’s disease.
3. What is a fun fact about you?
I love singing karaoke and dressing up like Elvis.
