Grief Group Support Group Facilitator

1. Describe your role with PRO.

“I facilitate PRO’s virtual Grief Group twice a month. The group welcomes anyone grieving from any type of loss, at any stage of the grief process. We all come face to face with grief at some point, and in group we witness our grief together.” 

2. What inspired you to come work with PRO?

“For over 40 years I worked with people as a psychotherapist. After retirement I wanted to find a way to continue connecting and working with people. PRO offered me the opportunity to facilitate Grief Group and do the work I deeply love.”

3. What is a fun fact about you?

“At age 17 I was recruited by the Brooklyn Dodgers. A difficult decision meant I would never find out how good I really was. I continued to play at some level until the loss of the use of my right eye. I also love Beethoven and crossword puzzles.”
