MEET THE PRO TEAM-JIM LAWLESS

It’s the people behind the scenes at PRO that makes us the special resource organization that we are. This month, meet Jim Lawless

1. Describe your role with PRO.

I currently serve on PRO’s Board of Directors as the Treasurer.

2. What inspired you to come work with PRO?

The reason I am inspired to work with PRO is because of the founder and the continuing superb work that staff and volunteers provide to individuals with Parkinson's.  For example, a non-profit rating agency recently gave PRO 4 STARS out of 4 STARS and a 98% on a scale of 100.  UNBELIEVABLE!

3. What is a fun fact about you?

I love dogs! There are two or three in bed with us all night. They love to travel. The vehicle captain is LadyBug (who is nine years old). She taught the others their jobs. Jill (who is five years old) is the co-pilot. And Woo-Woo (who is two years old) is the Navigator. LadyBug is never seen when the vehicle is moving but pops up like a Jack-in-the-Box at red lights and stop signs.  Occasionally,  she bangs her head when she is playing tail gunner in the back!
