MEET THE PRO TEAM-JOE MILLER

It’s the people behind the scenes at PRO that makes us the special resource organization that we are. This month, meet Joe Miller.

1. Describe your role with PRO.

I joined PRO’s Board of Directors in September 2025 and currently serve on the Strategy and Finance Committees. I’m excited about where PRO is in its growth and look forward to helping advance the organization to its next level of impact.

2. What inspired you to come work with PRO?

After several conversations with Executive Director Eileen Lynch, I was struck by how deeply Parkinson’s affects The Coachella Valley. As I learned more about PRO’s work, I was inspired by the meaningful support it provides to individuals and families. It was an honor to be invited to join the board, and I immediately said yes. Since becoming involved, I’ve also realized how many people in my own circle are impacted by Parkinson’s — both directly and indirectly. That has only strengthened my commitment to PRO’s mission.

3. What is a fun fact about you?

I’m a true Los Angeles native — born in downtown L.A., raised in the San Fernando Valley, and educated at California State University, Northridge and the University of Southern California. My entire career has been based in L.A., and I’m proud to call myself a lifelong Angeleno. These days, I enjoy being closer to Palm Springs, where I live with my husband of 25 years, Craig, and our French Bulldog, Mason.
