PRO OUT AND ABOUT: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT-NOVEMBER 2025
Category: NewsletterOctober was a busy and inspiring month for PRO as we continued to strengthen community connections and represent the Parkinson’s community across the Coachella Valley.
Throughout this month, PRO’s Executive Director Eileen Lynch and Community Outreach Manager Daniel Coover attended several local State of the City events across the Coachella Valley, connecting with city and business leaders to celebrate growth and discuss what’s ahead for the region. They joined the Palm Desert State of the City and Business Awards, hosted by the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Coachella State of the City and Business Awards, where the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce and City of Coachella partnered up to share updates on economic progress and upcoming developments. To close out the month, Eileen attended the Rancho Mirage State of the City, hosted by the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce—a dynamic gathering focused on the city’s future direction and community collaboration.
Eileen also participated in multiple sessions of the City of Palm Desert Civic Academy throughout October — a dynamic, multi-week program that provides an insider’s view of how the city operates through hands-on demonstrations, presentations, and tours.
Another highlight this month was the Palm Springs Life 40 Under 40, Class of 2025 ceremony, where Eileen Lynch was honored among the Coachella Valley’s most inspiring young leaders shaping the region’s future. Eileen was recognized for her leadership and dedication to improving the lives of people affected by Parkinson’s.
On top of all that, the PRO team was actively out in the community, connecting directly with individuals and families at several outreach and wellness events, including at the YMCA, the La Quinta Wellness Center, and the Joslyn Center.
From city events to local health fairs, PRO continues to engage deeply in the communities we serve — raising awareness, building partnerships, and ensuring that no one is isolated because of Parkinson’s.
