Cooler temps are on the way but we’re turning up the heat this October 21st and 22nd with the Inaugural Celebrity Pro-Am Brisket Cook-Off Competition!
In addition to a slate of professional and amateur chefs from Joshua Tree Bee Company, Cactus Jack’s, and The Reserve, we’ll have briskets from longtime supporter Dr. Howard Cohen, our very own Daniel Coover, and even a celebrity or two. We can’t say who yet, but it should be quite the “Family Affair.”
We’re particularly excited to announce Babe’s Bar-B-Que & Brewery and Market House Meats as food sponsors. Babe’s will provide sides to accompany the brisket and Market House will provide high-quality brisket to a number of our chef-participants.
KESQ’s John White will emcee both events in this two-day cooking extravaganza which will take place at Shadow Mountain Golf Club and Dr. Cohen’s residence in Palm Springs. Charles Herrera will provide entertainment for the Saturday event, and attendees at Shadow Mountain will be able to get their golf on at the putting green.
Even if you can’t make it in person, you could still win the Grand Prize... a seven-night stay at the Grand Mayan Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
